One-to-One and Groups: Executives, Professionals, IndividualsIncreasingly many people find themselves handling enormous complexity, ambiguity and uncertainty on a daily basis.
You may be an Executive making decisions that profoundly affect other people’s lives; a professional being challenged by conflicting demands and seemingly impossible deadlines; an artist unable to channel your creativity; or an individual struggling in aspects of your work and relationships. Reflecting on and exploring what is present in each situation, you will be able to discern and discover how to navigate through the dilemmas and challenges you are facing.
Louie offers confidential, one-to-one and group sessions anchored in Presence in Action (PIA). She draws on 35+ years of working – and working on how to survive and thrive – in complex contexts. Her unique synthesis of PIA, informed by diverse fields of practice and learning, equips others to develop and trust in their own resourcefulness and resilience. If you work with Louie, expect to access a renewed sense of inner coherence, foucs, flow and joy in your life, work and relationships.

SupervisionAs a hugely experienced Supervisor, Learning Partner and PIA Practitioner, Louie is sought after. Her novel approaches are increasingly in demand by leaders, professional practitioners, artists and those who do not have conventional roles.
Louie now trains and supervises people whose contributions span organisational leadership, coaching, mentoring, healthcare, creative industries, mediation, teaching, social services, faith-based fellowships and many more. She offers PIA-informed supervision to those engaged in paid or voluntary support of others. This is NOT a managerial function. It is an opportunity to be accompanied by a respected learning partner who is committed to supporting your development of your own reflective and reflexive practice. At the heart this, is assisting you to ‘safeguard your own trustworthiness’ in relation to those whose lives you touch.

Bespoke ProgrammesWe offer bespoke in-house coaching/supervision programmes to diverse organisations and groups that want to enhance the capacities of their people to meet present and future challenges.

The P6 Constellation will enrich your current practice and the training will immerse you in the framework. This experiential learning supported me in developing my skill set and challenged my thinking about coaching models and practices. I gained insights into how to use the framework to coach/guide a person towards a fuller exploration of the underlying emotions, anxieties and fears driving their presenting behaviours and patterns. The fact there is no one way to do this – that there is a multiplicity of options – allows me as a coach to find other ways in, if the client does not respond to certain questions. It also helps me from being ‘pulled into the client’s story’. I am using the P6 Constellation to great effect with adult clients and children and young people.

The P6 Constellation has enabled me personally to acknowledge and engage with my emotions and to develop my emotional language. I have noticed that this has had an impact on a variety of my relationships as I no longer conflate ‘feelings’ with ‘ideas about feelings’. One example is the change in my relationship with my son. The P6 Constellation has supported me to be present when I listen to him and to differentiate between my feelings and fictions and his. This is helping him become clearer about what goes on for him which is helping us rebuild our relationship.
Another example of the impact of the P6 Constellation is that I had not been paid for a piece of work, and despite chasing the payment this had continued for 5 months. I was able use the P6 Constellation mat to physically walk out my reaction to this situation. This enabled me to remain connected with my emotions and be assertive during negotiations.
The physical movement around the P6 Constellation is something I have found personally very helpful. As I have invited clients to ‘walk out’ their issues as well as to talk about them, I have noticed this has aided their sense making and been key to them becoming ‘unstuck’. One client had a challenging work scenario and despite being upset, found it difficult to connect and acknowledge her emotions. By physically standing in the Feelings portal and using the Emotions Palette, she could acknowledge some strong emotions. The visibility of the other portals on the mat enabled her to retain a sense of being in control as she moved to explore her what else was going on. Physically moving in this way amplified her learning and provided a framework for her to use outside our coaching sessions.

The P6 Constellation is a versatile framework which I can use with anyone one around any conversation. I did not anticipate the insights I would have of myself and of how my stories were affecting my self-talk. I have a growing awareness of how to engage clients in the present to be aware of their emotions and the effect they are having on their thoughts. This is a new framework to facilitate powerful conversations enabling true empathy with my clients. It offers a fluid structure without props or agendas getting in the way of insightful conversations.

I finally got why complexity science as an intellectual or rational discipline wasn’t the full story (for me). The P6 Constellation embraces both the emotional and the rational… and therefore feels much more complete and human than other approaches from the systems world. It was fascinating to see the different ways the ideas landed with us. This is deeply thought provoking and inspiring work…and for me, a potential game changer.

Louie’s approach offers a fresh pathway into better understanding of how real complexities of work and life influence choices, behaviours and outcomes. A practical, interesting and illuminating alternative to confusions/frustrations of linear thinking.
